Dr. Matthew Spangler’s play Tortilla Curtain, based on the novel by TC Boyle, is one of three finalists for the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Play.  Tortilla Curtain was produced by the San Diego Repertory Theatre in March/April 2012.  http://sdcriticscircle.org/
