April 2, 2025 marked an exciting step forward for San José’s tech scene as Plug and Play announced the launch of its new AI Center of Excellence right in the heart of downtown.

On September 26, the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business hosted a workshop on “Human-Machine Teaming” and “Beneficial AI Systems,” which was attended by guests from Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), the International Society of Service Innovation Professionals (ISSIP), industry representatives from the U.S. and students at San José State University
