Come sleep out to be in solidarity with the 47 million U.S. Americans living in poverty (21% of all kids) and the 6,600 houseless people in Santa Clara County. Today, the U.S. is number one in childhood poverty, income inequality, and wealth inequality in the industrialized world.

SJSU Choraliers with the Rolling Stones

The SJSU Choraliers have just confirmed that they will be singing with none other than the Rolling Stones for two concerts on their 50th Anniversary Tour: Sunday, May 5 in Oakland and Wednesday, May 8 at HP Pavilion in San José. The Choraliers will be featured live on stage in each of these concerts. More details to come!

Kinesiology Student selected as UG Scholar by American Kinesiology Association

Jeffrey Chan, a student in CASA’s Kinesiology program, has been selected as an American Kinesiology Association National Undergraduate Scholar for 2012.

This award honors a select number of students, whose academic and leadership records are distinctive.  These students, who are nominated by faculty, have demonstrated an exceptional interest in the field of kinesiology by undertaking independent or guided research, assuming leadership positions, and volunteering to serve in various, kinesiology-related endeavors.
