Faculty who are interested in taking on leadership roles at SJSU or who are currently in leadership roles are invited to apply to participate in the 2016-17 Deans’ Leadership Academy. Applications will be accepted through September, 2, at noon, with the first meeting scheduled for late September.

All tenured and tenure-track faculty and lecturers are eligible to apply, and the groups is looking in particular for faculty who: (1) plan to take on a leadership role in the future or who currently serve in a leadership role; (2) want to expand knowledge about higher education leadership; (3) and are committed to collaborating with colleagues outside their disciplines to learn more about how the university functions as well as what role effective academic leadership plays in the health of a university.
