Occupational Therapy Students Present at Annual Conference

More than 50 graduate students in the College of Applied Sciences and Arts Department of Occupational Therapy will be presenting research projects during the Occupational Therapy Association of California Annual Conference at the end of October, in Pasadena. The poster session is primarily targeted for practicing occupational therapists to present their research, but the caliber of SJSU students work was selected via a competitive blind review.

“This represents quite an accomplishment,” said Wynn Schutlz-Krohn, chair of Occupational Therapy.

Past OT department chair and former AVP for faculty affairs at SJSU Dr. Lela Llorens has been invited to deliver a keynote address at the annual conference luncheon. SJSU students and alumni will be hosting a reception in her honor on Oct. 28.
