CSU’s GOT TALENT 2022 Webcasts Posted

The Chancellor’s Office recently shared the direct links to all of the CSU’s GOT TALENT sessions from 2022, in case there are some you may have missed, or one you’d like to revisit. Webcasts this year have included presentations from experts and bestselling authors specializing in subjects ranging from: doing what matters most, fostering wellness, how to beat burnout, thriving in the future of work, eliminating microaggressions, building a culture of strategic thinkers, unleashing your greatness, and using the power of focus to create peak performance.

New CSULearn Content

The Chancellor’s Office recently announced the addition of new content in CSULearn. These courses are optional and open to all employees. You can find this information on the CSULearn page of our website. We will also send announcements through this blog when new content is added.

To take one of the courses follow the steps below.

1 .Log into CSULearn

2. Click the search icon from the landing page (see image below)

3. The search bar will open

4. Enter (or copy and paste) the name of course into the search field and hit enter (see image below)

5. The course will display along with other courses that may be similar

6. Click the name of the course to get started (see image below)

  • CHRS10 – Prepare Faculty Job Offers – February 15; March 24
  • CHRS11 – Screen & Evaluate Faculty Applications – February 8, 24; March 15, 29
  • CHRS12 – Screen & Evaluate Staff Applications – February 8, 24; March 15, 29

To enroll:

  1. Go to Enroll in Training Classes (via one.SJSU)
  2. Click Search by Course Number
  3. Enter the Course Number as listed above (CHRSXX); please note, this value is case-sensitive
  4. Click Search
  5. Click View Available Sessions
  6. Click the hyperlink for the session in which you wish to enroll
  7. Click Enroll

Please note, enrollment for each session will close two working days prior to the session date. You will be provided with the Zoom login information via a Google meeting invitation no later than one day prior to the session date.

Online Training to Support Remote Working

The majority of employees on campus have transitioned to a remote work space and are adapting to a temporary telecommuting lifestyle. We are pleased to announce several optional online training opportunities through CSULearn and LinkedIn Learning to assist you while working from home. Details on the various course offerings are below.

New CSULearn Courses

Several new learning bundles have been released by the Chancellor’s Office that are available for all employees. These courses are optional and can be reached from the CSULearn Library, under CSU’s Professional Development. Course topics include:

  • COVID-19
  • Communication
  • Mindful Meeting Exercises
  • Student Employees (courses designed for our student workers)
  • Work-Life Balance
  • Working Virtually

From the CSULearn main page, click the Library icon:
