Art & Dine Festival Seeks Student Artists

The Art & Dine Festival is a great opportunity to showcase your talents. Among the students who participate are Leslie Wyatt, who sells her adorable crocheted art, ranging from little sea creatures to custom creations (Spartan Shops photo).

Are you a student who loves art, music and food? If so, the Art & Dine Festival is back 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 6 outdoors near MacQuarrie Hall! If you didn’t get a chance to go to this Spartan Shops event last term, you definitely have to swing by for this event drawing together our SJSU community.

The Art & Dine Festival is on campus the first Wednesday of every month and we are looking for student artists and musicians to participate and showcase their talent. Students can reserve a booth for free to show and/or sell their artwork, just like our student artist, Leslie Wyatt.

Leslie has been at all the Art & Dine Festivals throughout the fall semester selling her adorable crocheted art! Ranging from little sea creatures to custom creations, Leslie has been sharing her love for art and collectibles with our SJSU community. We also have had talented musicians like our Marimba artist Trevor Dolce and SJSU Concert Choir Director Jeffrey Benson students come and perform during the festival. We are always looking for more musicians and artists to join the fun. Are you interested in reserving a free booth or performing? Please contact Candice Carbonell.
