1/28/14 @ 12:00-1:00 PM – Associated Students House | Fireside Room.  Join SJSU Alumna and current Executive Fellow Yan Yin K. Global Game Jam | LGC

1/24-26/14 – The SJSU Learning & Games Consortium (LGC) is hosting the Global Game Jam, starting @ 5:00 PM.  This event, which can be thought of as a hackathon focused on game development, is the largest of its kind in the world.  Bringing together jammers from different disciplines to collaboratively create games with global themes, the GGJ is open to students from all majors.  Contact the GGJ Website or James Morgan (2013 Salzburg Fellow | Lecturer – Art History) for more information.  Join the jam by registering at the GGJ website for SJSU.

Steinbeck Award | Ken Burns

12/6/13 – Join KQED, Student Union, Inc., and the Center for Steinbeck Studies at San Jose State University for a special evening as Ken Burns accepts the John Steinbeck Award and sits down for an on-stage conversation with Michael Krasny.
