You will learn how 18,000 families in our community could be made homeless as a result of the federal Sequester Cuts. You will also learn about the connection between SJSU apparel and sweatshop labor; how Public Works can provide thousands of jobs for the 83,000 unemployed in Santa Clara County; and how a free-standing statue needs to be built on campus to commemorate how SJSU was the starting point for the internment of Japanese-Americans in Santa Clara County during WWII.
