San Jose State University and its University Advancement team have been recognized with two Awards for Excellence by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VII.

SJSU received a bronze award in Branding Programs for our 2017-2018 Off-Campus Marketing/Branding Campaign, which included physical and digital installations at Levi’s Stadium, Avaya Stadium, and Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport.

The university also received a bronze award in Multi-Day Special Events for campus-wide events during Legacy Week: October 15-18, 2018.

San Jose State was recognized with these two awards out of more than 600 entries this year from institutions throughout District VII, which includes public and private institutions in the western region of the United States (Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Nevada, Northern Mariana Islands and Utah).

“Everyone in University Advancement, and many others around campus, have had a part in these two award-winning efforts,” said Vice President for University Advancement Paul Lanning. “All should be proud that our work is being recognized as being among the very best in the western United States.”

The awards will be presented at the CASE District VII Awards Luncheon during the Connect West Conference in Anaheim on Thursday, February 21.
