Graduation Workshops Scheduled

Graduation Workshops

The Office of the Registrar once again will be holding 4 graduation workshops for undergraduate students during this semester.

These workshops will provide an overview of the graduation application process to our prospective graduating students.

Students, faculty and college advisors are welcome to attend!

No RSVP is required. The dates, times and venues are listed below.

Spring ’13 Payments Due Feb 14

View your MySJSU account to see if you have any outstanding charges for Spring 2013.  Failure to pay the balance due will result in your being dropped from your classes.

If you can see a fee deferral in the right margin when signed in to your MySJSU Student Center, you do not have to pay at this time and your classes are safe.

Monday is Last Day to Add a Class for Spring ’13

Last Day To Add

The last day to add a class is Monday, February 11. For instructions on how to register, add classes and/or drop classes, view Tutorials for Students.

MySJSU Available Monday

The regular weekly maintenance scheduled for Monday, February 11 has been cancelled. This means the system will be up and available for students wishing to add classes before the midnight registration deadline.

Open University Students

The Open University Quick Admit button on the MySJSU homepage will be removed at 11:59 pm on Sunday, February 10. If you wish to add a class on Monday, Feb 11—the last day to add classes—please visit the Office of the Registrar.

Fall 2012 Grades and Academic Standing

Fall 2012 initial grades entered in approved status will be posted to MySJSU on Saturday, December 22. For instructions on how to view your grades, see View My Grades.

Academic Standing will be posted to MySJSU on Monday, January 7. Academic Standing can be viewed on your unofficial transcript. For instructions on how to view your  unofficial transcript, see View My Unofficial Transcript.

Fall 2012 grades and academic standing will be finalized and available on official transcripts on January 7, 2013. See the Transcripts page to order an official transcript.

Spring ’13 Registration Appointments & Enrollment Limits

Spring 2013 registration appointments will be posted on MySJSU starting Tuesday, October 30. For instructions on how to view your appointments, see View My Enrollment Appointments.

Advance Registration & Enrollment Limit

Advance Registration for Spring 2013 is from 7 am on Tuesday, November 6 to 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 13, 2013.  Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 16 units. 

Note: The excess unit petition is only available for students with a Spring 2013 graduation application on file. No exceptions.

Enrollment Limit for Graduating Students

Spring 2013 candidates for graduation will be eligible to register for up to 18 units on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Your graduation application must be on file with the Office of the Registrar on or before December 10.

For graduating seniors wanting to take more than 18 units, excess unit petitions will be available on January 2, 2013. The maximum units allowed, with petition, is 21 units.
