Hello,
My name is Ciera Duran and I am the Coordinator for the Mathematical and Theoretical Biology Institute (MTBI), a summer research experience for undergraduates held at Arizona State University. At MTBI, we prepare undergraduates in math, biology, and related fields for the rigors of graduate school by enabling students to produce student-selected, graduate-level research.
Our program has reached out to your department in the past to help us identify students that are both well motivated to do research and have an interest in mathematical biology. We hope you will assist us by recommending a student for the summer 2017. Please forward this information to those who would benefit from the program.
For more information on MTBI 2017 and to reach our online application form, please visit (http://mtbi.asu.edu/summerprogram).
Feel free to email me or Sabrina Avila at: Sabrina.Avila@asu.edu with any questions you may have. The application deadline is January 31, 2017.
Thank you for your help!
