Meet Sandra, recently graduated SJSU grad student and one of the leaders of Lurie College!

“Looking back at my academic journey I am grateful for all of the obstacles that I have faced as a first-generation college student. Taking the less traveled route in my family led me to education which is a powerful tool that has transformed the way I see the world. I want to support, encourage, and guide ALL students towards achieving their academic goals and finding a career that they are passionate about. If I can help one person change their life with education, I have reached my goal as an educator.”
