Meet Annette, recently graduated SJSU doctoral student and one of the leaders of Lurie College!

“Education is the arena where I find the most joy in providing service to others. My career is dedicated to leveling the playing field for students who are struggling academically, living in poverty, experiencing race-based microaggressions, and/or other risk factors. Guided by a transformative lens, my life’s work of “Bridging the Gap for Students of Promise” is to promote human rights and social justice advocacy through propelling systemic changes in unjust educational systems.”
