Next IT Open Forum

The IT Open Forum will continue its series of communication sessions at 2 pm on Thursday, January 17th in Engineering 285. These forums include topics that inform the campus about SJSU IT activities and give users an opportunity to provide input on them. This event is open to the campus so please invite your faculty and staff to attend.

New Workshops: Getting Started with WebEx

SJSU WebEx is a cloud-based interactive web conferencing tool that can be used to host online meetings, classes or training sessions with individuals inside and outside of San José State University. WebEx can be accessed from Macs, PCs, smartphones, or tablets.

Join us for an hour-long hands-on introduction where you’ll learn how to be both a presenter and participant in WebEx events. Attendees will leave with the ability to set up their own meetings, office hours, and interactive events using the WebEx interface.

We’ll also see how to collaborate with the whiteboard and annotation functions, chat with other participants, and share presentations, videos, and your desktops within WebEx. This workshop will be facilitated by Christina Mune, eCampus Faculty-in-Residence.
