“Tom dedicated the entire summer of 2017 supporting our incoming frosh with Early Start courses. He spent the 2016-17 academic year planning for summer programs by creating curriculum, hiring faculty, training faculty, collaborating with partners programs and offices all over campus. Tom putt systems in place to ensure that students were placed properly and then moved into the appropriate courses in Fall 2017. He answered thousands of emails from students and their families. Last week he spent several nights until 4 or 5 AM clearing students’ remedial status so that they could enroll in classes this fall.
