CFS and Finance Data Warehouse Outage Scheduled

CFS and Finance Data Warehouse will be unavailable from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 24th through 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 26th.  The Chancellor’s Office is moving CFS production database from Solaris to Linux and both systems must be offline to complete the project. This move will not affect any other services (e.g. FTS and SJSU Email) you typically access through the my.sjsu.edu application portal.

On Sunday morning, CFS data will be as of Friday, Aug. 24th 2:00 a.m.  Finance Data Warehouse will be refreshed as follows:

Monday, August 27, 2018 – available by 8:00 a.m. with data current as of Sunday, August 26 at 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 28, 2018 – available by 10:00 a.m. with data current as of Tuesday morning at 2:00 a.m.
Wednesday, August 29, 2018 – available by 8:00 a.m. with data current as of Wednesday morning at 2:00 a.m.

Daily Finance Data Warehouse refreshes will return to normal starting Wednesday with our standard 8:00 a.m. availability and reflect data from 2:00 a.m. that morning.

Campus Copier Program – Pacific Office Automation (POA) Equipment Tagging

Attention Campus Copier Participants:

This message is only applicable to departments that have Konica Minolta copiers previously serviced by Caltronics (CPO).

Pacific Office Automation will be on campus on Friday, August 24th to complete the tagging of the copy machines with their new equipment/service IDs. Thus, please allow them to tag the applicable machines. If your department has any scheduled closures or if you have any questions, do contact the Campus Copier Program Coordinator at sara.bonakdar@sjsu.edu.

July Accounting Period Close

For employees who track or manage department budgets, please note that the month of July 2018 is now closed in CFS.

This means that the General Ledger (GL) system will not accept any more entries with a July journal date. July transactions can still be entered into the GL system, but the journal date must be 8/1/2018 or later. The current period open is August 2018.
